EV batteries are the heaviest part of a typical electric vehicle drivetrain. Where do you put them? A major part of designing a great driving experience is determining how and where such a dense mass is placed. Our current prototype places the battery in front, where a typical car would have its engine (also a large mass).
Our next generation vehicle will find the battery under the floor. This has a lot of advantages, including a low center of mass and equal weight distribution, both of which are key to a stable three wheeled platform. Stay tuned as we shed light on our current build and provide updates on our journey toward building our pre-series vehicle, the bridge between our existing prototype and production.
